High-Grade Euramax Aluminium: Engineered for Coastal Performance
Not every coastal project wants a living, changing metal. Sometimes the design calls for a precise colour that looks identical in year one and year thirty — matte black that stays matte black, a bronze that never drifts. That's the brief Euramax aluminium was engineered to win.
PVDF: the coating that doesn't blink
Euramax aluminium is coil-coated with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) — roller-applied and cured at 240°C before the panel is ever formed. PVDF is the benchmark for architectural colour stability: exceptional UV resistance, minimal chalking and fade, and a surface that shrugs off the salt-laden humidity that destroys lesser paint systems. It's the same coating family trusted on landmark facades worldwide.
Naturally coastal-proof underneath
The aluminium substrate brings its own defence: a self-forming oxide layer that protects the metal even at cut edges. Where coated steel relies entirely on its coating — and corrodes from every scratch and drill swarf — aluminium is forgiving. Combined with PVDF, the result is rated C4 as standard, and C5 severe marine under the Euramax Diamond Coastal warranty specification: genuine beachfront capability with a written warranty behind it.
Half the weight, twice the freedom
At roughly 1.4 kg/m² per millimetre of thickness, aluminium is the lightest premium cladding metal. That means longer spans, bolder cantilevers, curved and folded forms that would be impractical in heavier materials — and easier engineering on renovation projects where the structure wasn't designed for facade loads. Our Raby Bay and Isle of Capri waterfront projects both lean on that freedom.
A colour range without compromise
Solid colours, metallics, AnoMax anodic-look finishes and EuraDecor design surfaces — plus custom matching to any RAL or AS colour. If the design team can specify it, Euramax can coat it, and we can form it. Explore the full swatch range on our materials page, or order physical samples to see finishes in your site's own light.
Specified and formed on the Gold Coast
Euroclad imports Euramax coil and forms every panel in-house — standing seam, flat-lock, interlocking and bespoke laser-cut profiles. Tell our material advisor your suburb and priorities, and we'll tell you honestly whether aluminium is the right call for your project — and which warranty tier your site demands.
